How it works
An extension in your browser, a private library with us, and your own AI.
1 · The extension collects
You sign in to itslearning in the extension.
The extension reads the courses, files, pages and assignments you can already see. You choose the courses. It changes nothing on itslearning.
The sign-in key stays in the extension and is never sent to us. It syncs while your browser is open, every 30 minutes by default.
2 · Your browser turns it into text
The files aren't sent to us.
PDF, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, text and zip files become text in your browser. Scanned pages are read with text recognition (OCR). The text isn't translated or rewritten.
Anything that can't be read gets a note with title and link. Video and audio aren't downloaded.
3 · Your private library
Only text and a link.
This is what a note looks like. It's stored in your own library on our server in Germany and deleted when the file is deleted on itslearning.
4 · Your AI answers
Your AI searches your library.
You connect your own AI over MCP. It can search, read notes and see deadlines and what's new, and every result links to its source.
We write no summaries and run no AI ourselves.
